Lauren Candito was one of the featured speakers at the UCDA Design Summit in Baltimore, Maryland a few weeks ago. Held March 24-27 at the Pier 5 Hotel, the conference was an opportunity for education professionals to focus on perfecting their brand. It offered speakers, workshops and tools that helped with everything from forming and polishing communications plans to building an effective social media presence.
Lauren addressed the audience on two separate occasions. The first presentation discussed how today’s students use social media. The second presentation was titled “Tecnhbabble or Technobrilliance,” and offered an innovative look at how higher education associations are using social media to change the face of communications.
The presentations were so well received that Lauren has been contracted to speak again. She is excited to be appearing at the UCDA Design Conference in Phoenix, Arizona held October 15-18. This conference specifically targets designers working in the education field.
